President David Palmer that is.
And I use the term 'met' loosely.
Here is the story.
Yesterday I went to lunch with some friends and when I came back in to the lobby of my office (a 23 story building downtown - just so you get the feel) there was Dennis Haysbert being interviewed! I waited around for him to finish but was beat to a hand shake by a couple of aggressive ladies who immediately accosted him as he left the interview area. I didn't want to be "That Guy" and wait around - so I laughed and went back to work. Pretty cool though, as I really enjoy his acting.

24 has never been the same since they killed him. I understand he was going to do "The Unit," but it just hasn't been the same since.
What's funny is that we REALLY do like this guy, I mean, he comes up in conversation as "awesome" at least once a week (usually while watching The Unit). And there was this stretch of time where I couldn't remember his name to save my life until I finally caved and looked him up on IMDB. So of all the random actors he could have run into - that was a pretty cool choice.
Did he ask you if you are insured with Allstate? HA! :)
has any actor who played a President on TV or in the movies ever run for President? I'm assuming Reagan never played a President...
this guy just carried himself and had the right demeanor, even if he was acting.
Haysbert has said that, being the first ever conceived black Presidential candidate & then President, he was very careful to get it right. He took great care to make sure that David Palmer was portrayed with class.
Mission accomplished
Berry & iii - I agree and I would vote for him too.
Kim - I thought about asking him if he was in good hands.
